John has opened for Tower of Power, Sons of Champlin (Bill Champlin of Chicago), Lady Bo, The Chiffons, Chad & Jeremy, Gary U.S Bonds, Simon & Garfunkel, Ron Thompson and many others.. He has performed with band members of John Lee Hooker, Albert King and other blues artists.. John has CD releases in the U.S.A, and overseas. His songs have been featured in Billboard, U.S. gospel news and Country song roundup magazine, on ABC tv (General Hospital), VH1 tv show "Driven" 2004 featuring grammy award winner, Usher. "The fabulous life of country superstars" (VH1 tv show), The Nashville Network, Hollywood movies, and co wrote the #1 single in 1999 on the country gospel music guild charts, "Smile if you love Jesus". Grand prize winner Nashville music city song festival.
